The NOA55 LRRS DUO version is designed for lifeboats up to 11 tonne gross weight. A full set includes two hook units, a chassis, containing hydraulics and electrics, a water sensor and the control unit. All parts are manufactured to the highest standard, with premium materials and innovative solutions.
The NOA55 LRRS UNO system is designed for MOB and rescue crafts. The hook is identical to the hooks in the DUO configuration, but the chassis is physically smaller, allowing for a very small footprint, which is crucial for installations on smaller vessels where space is limited.
The flush mounted chassis for the UNO hosts the hydraulic unit with the reservoir tank, the electric pump, the electric control unit and the hand pump for emergency release. The system remains unpressurised when not in use
The chassis for the DUO features an innovative tandem hydraulic manifold, which ensures simultaneous release of both hooks.
Water sensors have been a weak link in the LRRS system - until now. The through-hull fitting for the NOA watersensor is precision moulded from glass-reinforced Nylon composite. The unit is easy to mount and maintain compared to traditional membrane systems. The electronic control unit for the sensor is located in the chassis, reducing potential malfunction due to environmental factors. Reliable water sensor-data is the key to safe operation - year after year.
No load on movable parts enhances safety significantly. The system does not rely on gravity to be released, giving the operator full control in all situations.
The master link is fully enclosed - no weak spots such as locks, pins or springs.
Main components produced of premium brushed finish super duplex and duplex stainless steel plates. No cast parts, which are prone to cracking under pressure.
